Chicken starter recipe: Whenever we go out for lunch or drinner, I noticed that my kid is more inclined to eating the starters than the main course. So I decided that on days when we buy chicken, I should reserve some portion of it for my kids evening snack… She really enjoys eating it… I’m sure most kids would like it. Mommys could try this out ….
Ingredients:
250 gms boneless chicken (cut into small pieces)
1 tblspn maida

1 tblspn besan flour
1/2 tspn ginger garlic paste
1/2 tspn chilli powder
1/2 tspn pepper cummin powder mix
1/2 tspn lemon juice
Pinch of turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Method:
- In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper cummin powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Just before frying, add all the flours – maida, besan and rice flour to the marinated chicken. Sprinkle water and mix well.
- Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the chicken pieces to golden brown.
